Spinning 30!

A new spinning class at the Gym this morning. Spinning 30 which means 30 minutes Tabata interval spinning. I was close to death at the end but very effective! I look very much forward to the next class.

I finally found a fantastic fruit and vegetable shop with a wide range of ecological products. It's hard to find good eco food in Spain. It's usually quite bad quality and it's sold with all the dirt and soil. Tonight
I will make "pimientos de piquillo" stuffed with meat. Yummy!

Yesterday I made a new record running in the area. Almost 7km. I usually do only 5km and felt really strong and look forward to next time to see if it feels just as good. After I did a Tabata pass with Squads and Sit-ups. I am still a little bit afraid to start with push ups as I'm not sure my arm will make it.

We have had beautiful days here lately. Look what I day I had when I was out taking a walk last Sunday. Best of the best.

Mice hunt and flooding

What a morning!

4.50am and it sound like the roof is falling apart. The worst rainstorm I have ever experienced came to it's climax and holy smoke what a noise. The tiles on the roof were slamming, the lightning's were brighting up the whole room. I was just waiting for Emelie to open the door and get down in my bed but she never did...
The cat...where is the cat...outside of course. At 6.45am when I got up I open the door and the cat were sitting in the sofa soaking wet. She is absolutely scared to death and it's been a long time since she were so friendly.

I prepare breakfast as usual and after waking up the kids I thought it was best to go down and check the basement...flooding...one bucket of water and after the floor was dry again I go back upstairs to the kitchen, open the door under the zinc and...

We have had a little mice running around here since June. There has been no way to catch him. We've tried everything. His been able to eat the food we put out but avoiding the trap. This morning when I open the door, there he is! Dead, very dead. Hopefully it was only him and we can forget about mice hunting for a while.

Look what it did to my orchid when I was away this summer.

All this and it's not even 9am. I'm going to prepare myself a coffee and relax before I continue my day. Let's see what more is awaiting me :-)

Preparing for ICEF Berlin Workshop 2013

On November 3rd I will attend the biggest workshop in the Study Abroad Community. It's a yearly workshop with thousands of participants. http://www.icef.com/workshops/berlin.html

Platform will have a booth at the event and I have the possibility of scheduling meeting with the workshop participants. This is what I am doing today. Sending meeting requests and scheduling as many meetings as possible! Two intense days full of meetings with potential clients.

Here's a picture of me setting up the booth back in 2007! Six years ago. I am looking very much forward to come back.
